An Intimate London Elopement at the ruins of St Dunstan in the East

This is intimate elopement in London’s St Dunstan in the East has quickly become one of my favourite weddings of 2026 and I hope to do more like this in 2027! Caitlin and Ben flew all the way here from the US and despite the rain, we could see the love shine through the clouds. Ultimately, we even got lucky and the sun came out during some of the ceremony and the rain held off briefly!

I shot this wedding on a mixture of film and digital photography, using my trusty Minolta Dynax and Kodak 400 film. In the rain, I do wish I’d gone up to 800, but I think the blur was pretty romantic.
